The Power BI Sales Management solution template for Salesforce now supports Azure Data Factory

The Power BI Salesforce solution template contains everything needed for a secure, scalable and extensible Sales Management dashboard with actionable analytics. In just a few hours stand up an end-to-end solution including your choice of the Informatica Cloud Integration Platform or Scribe’s cloud-based platform, cloud or on-premise database, and polished Power BI reports (including a security model derived from your own Salesforce instance).

Now, Microsoft has added support for Azure Data Factory. Azure Data Factory is a cloud-based data integration service that orchestrates and automates the movement and transformation of data from cloud and on-premise sources. In this case, we’ve configured Data Factory to pull data from Salesforce and populate Azure SQL DB to source a collection of Power BI reports.
