Borderlands 3’s launch date is just on the horizon and, ahead of the September 13th release date, Gearbox has dropped the official specs for all PC versions of the game.
Fans will be pleased to know that you won’t need the most powerful rig out there in order to enjoy Borderlands 3. Although nobody’s stopping you from building a PC out of the best parts you can find, either.
You can find the minimum requirements and recommended specs below in a handy image courtesy of Gearbox but, just in case you can’t read the image or just enjoy scrolling down articles, we’ve written them in plain text beneath, too.
The minimum specs for the crisp 1080p experience are:
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (latest service pack)
- Processor: AMD FX-8350 (Intel i5-3570)
- Memory: 6GB RAM
- Graphics card: AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 7970 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB)
- HDD: 75GB
However, if you want to experience Borderlands 3 in all its 1440p glory, then the recommended specs are as follows:
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (latest service pack)
- Processor: AMD Ryzenâ„¢ 5 2600 (Intel i7-4770)
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Graphics card: AMD Radeonâ„¢ RX 590 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB)
- HDD: 75GB
While that’s all for specs, there’s also a million and one graphics settings available in-game. Below you’ll find a complete list of all the in-game graphics options that you’ll be able to mess with to your heart’s content.
