The Microsoft Store is now selling Xbox Avatar costume items

Microsoft’s new Xbox Avatar Editor recently became generally available, and to support the customization feature it appears Microsoft is also getting ready to sell Xbox Avatar Costume items via the Microsoft Store.

Aggiornamentilumia.it reports that if you search for Avatar in the Microsoft store in the USA you are now able to find a wide selection of costume items available for purchase. After purchasing an item the selection opens up in the new Xbox Avatar Editor.

Avatar Items are also a new category in the store and include both free and for charge items and accessories.

Microsoft has however not yet formally announced the feature, but Windows 10 users in the USA can already try it out simply by searching the Store.

Update: As HTNovo reports, the feature is now, in fact, available worldwide.
