Microsoft today started selling the first set of affordable Windows 10 S devices Lenovo’s N23 and N24 devices that are powered by Windows 10 S are now available for purchase. Lenovo’s N23 is a convertible Windows 10 S device with an 11.6-inch touchscreen display, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage — priced at $249. The N24, on the other hand, seems to be very similar to the N23 but comes with a pen and costs an extra $30.
Microsoft is also set to launch some other Windows 10 S devices “soon” — including devices from Dell, Asus, and HP:
- ASUS Vivobook W202 ($279 USD), available in the US
- Dell Latitude 3180 ($229 USD) and 3189 ($299), available in the US and Canada
- Fujitsu LIFEBOOK P727 ($999 USD), available in the US and Canada
- HP ProBook x360 11EE ($299 USD), available in the US, UK and Australia
Note that these things aren’t available to the general public and Microsoft is only selling them exclusively to customers in the education sector. It isn’t clear if that will change anytime in the near-future.
