T-Mobile USA has so far not upgraded any of their very few Windows Phone 8 handsets, with their whole collection “Under testing”.

Now T-Mobile support on twitter has revealed the “encouraging” news that the update is still indeed on the way, and should hit devices “later this year.”
The update was originally intended to come in the “summer”, but with less than a month left till this ends it seems the company is no longer willing to commit itself to that schedule.
Here’s hoping the devices see the Windows Phone 8.1 update before the release of Windows Phone 9.
