Microsoft’s Surface Book is pretty solid, but it turns out it is also bullet-proof, according to twitter resident Aaron.
He reports a stray bullet from an apartment below him went through his floor, his bed and was only stopped by his Surface Book laptop.
In his viral tweet he credit’s the laptop for saving his life, suggesting he was in rather close proximity to both the bullet and the laptop when it all went down.
My laptop literally just saved my life… Someone shot through the floor in my apartment building

Microsoft’s Surface Book is of course constructed from tough magnesium alloy, though we doubt Microsoft actually tested its ability to stop bullets.
Aaron suspects the bullet was accidentally fired by some-one cleaning their gun in the apartment below, and besides replacing his laptop (with another Surface Book of course) we suggest possibly moving to a safer location may be good action plan.
