Standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is now available on Xbox One

Update 2: Just as GameStop said, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available as a standalone version on Xbox One today, July 27.

Ever since Activision let it slip in an interview that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was getting a standalone release, speculation has been rife about when that’ll occur. Well, we might finally have received definitive confirmation today. According to the anonymous source who provided the photographs to Charlie INTEL, the game is coming out on June 27.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is an absolutely thrilling shooter and is a classic. It’s a lot of fun and really pushed not only advancements in shooting mechanics and visuals when it came out, but it was one of the reasons Call of Duty became so popular. If you haven’t had a chance to play it, be sure to pick up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. It’s pretty much guaranteed to exist at this point.

Update 1: Activision released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for PlayStation 4 on June 27 but according to GameStop the title is coming to Xbox One on July 27, a month later.
