Popular music streaming company, Spotify has achieved another feat. The company recently announced that it now has more than 100 million premium users worldwide. The company released the figures during the recent earnings call.

According to the data released by Spotify (via Engadget), the company now has over 217 million subscribers worldwide. The company recently rolled out its music streaming service to India and has already started gaining momentum. The company reported getting a million users within the first week. However, all the numbers couldn’t turn into profit for Spotify as the company reported a loss of €142 million ($158 million) this quarter.

The company doesn’t hope to make huge profits anytime soon but is expected to increase its grip on the global music streaming market.
