Update: On Microsoft’s training modules, Spotify is listed as available on Xbox One and Windows 10. The Verge recieved confirmation from their sources that Spotify was coming to Xbox One. Lastly, Larry Hryb revealed the software on his weekly This Week on Xbox show.

It looks like Spotify is coming to Xbox One. An image appeared on Reddit which was taken by the owner of a Spanish gaming website. In it you can clearly see Larry Hryb, better known as Major Nelson, testing out Spotify for Xbox. We ran the image through basic tools and can’t see any evidence of manipulation. Apart from that, given the fact that we know who posted the image, we doubt they would be involved in such a hoax.

As with any such leak, take it with a grain of salt until we have confirmation. Many years ago Spotify said that their deal with PlayStation was exclusive but maybe not. We’ve reached out to Microsoft and will let you know once we know more.
