Today, Google introduced two news phones for the Nexus line. The company’s latest Nexus device, the Nexus 5X and the 6P come with decent specs, and interesting designs, too. The specs aren’t anything too impressive, to be honest — they are just the specs that you’d expect to see on a 2015 device. Now, Microsoft is also expected to launch two new Windows Phone devices in October — the Lumia 950, and the Lumia 950 XL.

So how do the new Nexus devices compare to the upcoming Windows Phone flagships?

specs

As you can see from the above spec sheet, all of the devices lack something — for example, the Nexus 6P has an aluminium unibody while the Lumia 950 XL packs a polycarbonate design. Both of the Nexuses also come with a fingerprint scanner, but the Lumias are expected to come with an Iris scanner which should be a tad bit faster than the fingerprint scanner on the Nexus devices.

One of the most interesting things about devices are the prices — for now, we don’t know the prices for the Lumia 950/XL but the Nexus devices’ prices are pretty good. We’ll compare the upcoming Lumias with all the other big boys in the market when the devices are official. Until then, tell us what you think of Google’s new devices in the comment section below.

Note: The Lumia 950/XL’s specs aren’t official yet, the above specs are rumored specs and they may be wrong.
