Sony Ericsson CEO recently said that Windows Phone is still under consideration for making devices. Since the launch of Windows Phone 7, SE is oscillating their thoughts on Windows Phones. In their conference call during their quarterly results last week, Sony Ericsson CEO Bert Nordberg said that

"For the moment, we see Android as a better choice for us. We have not closed the door [on Windows Phones]."

"we have seen some tablet version of Windows 8, and it looks interesting."

For now, however, Windows Phone needs some improvements in "a number of services and applications," .

I think Sony Ericsson should make its decision soon and focus on their clear strategy as their sales numbers are dipping vary fast. In the USA, sales fell 45 % compared with the year-ago quarter, with year-to-date US sales falling 28 %. They are also planning to shift their entire portfolio of devices to smartphones in 2012.
