Sonos recently added Groove Music support to their multi-room audio solution, suggesting that the company may be increasing their support for Microsoft platforms.

Unfortunately this does not appear to be the case, as Sonos customer care has made it clear they have no interest in developing a Windows Store app, saying:

The news is particularly interesting in light of the fact that Sonos already has a beta app in the Windows Store, which apparently works well on Windows 10 Mobile according to a reviewer and which has been updated as recently as the 30th November 2015.

Sonos of course does have a desktop Windows app, and hopefully Microsoft’s 1 billion Windows 10 goal will eventually convince the company to get on the Universal Windows App bandwagon.
