SMS Organizer can now track the live status of Indian Railways trains

Microsoft’s SMS Organizer is one of the most popular SMS apps on Android and it is available only for users in India. The app has received a slew of new features in the latest update.

SMS Organizer is now capable of tracking the live status of Indian Railways trains. And the best part is that it can happen without the internet, you’ll have to turn on the GPS on your smartphone and that’s about it — the app will display the status of the trains.

Beyond that, Microsoft added an option to check the status of your PNR, short for Passenger Name Record. The app will remind you to check your PNR status two days prior to the journey.

Moreover, the app will display the travel details and that includes your train number, date of travel, point of boarding and destination, PNR number, reservation status, and seat details. This feature is called ‘Smart Reminders.’

Another interesting new feature is that SMS Organizer can now book foods in advance. In order to book food in advance, you’ll have to press the book food button, the app will then show you all the food items available for booking.

You’ll also be able to raise a complaint within the app if you find train service not up to the mark. The app will let you raise complaints about coach cleaning, malfunctioning AC, absence of linen, lack of water, toilet cleaning among other things.
