There’s a new Skype Preview build rolling out for insiders on the latest build of Windows 10, and this update adds few features to  make it easier to communicate.

To begin with, Microsoft is beginning to roll out support for integrated voice translation when you’re calling “mobiles and landlines” via the Skype preview app. Microsoft is also making it easier to reach out to people who are not online. Now you can share video messages to let your friends and family know what you’re truly feeling. While older Skype clients had this, the new Skype Preview app did not and the Skype team is simply bringing it up to speed here.

It is also easier to introduce your Skype contacts to one another win this build. Microsoft has added a button for sharing contacts, so you can share Skype details of people you’ve added on Skype with other Skype friends without much hassle.

Finally, Microsoft is adding new conversation management features to Skype Preview. You can now mark conversations as either “read” or “unread” to remind yourself to come back to them later – or to dismiss them entirely because you really didn’t want to talk to Dan from accounting on your lunch break anyway.

These features are exclusive for now to the Skype Preview app forInsidersbut will be rolling out to general users after a month or so of testing.
