Skype for iPhone now lets you share panoramic images and more in new update

Skype for iPhone picked up an update last night for iPhones. Microsoft is still pushing Skype as your default messaging app, so naturally, the main feature being improved here is photo sharing.

You can now share panoramic photos you’ve captured in the iPhone’s camera app on Skype highlights (Something Snapchat and Instagram don’t yet allow). You can also share it with your friends via chat, but the highlights addition seems more significant supposing you live somewhere people mostly use Skype to communicate (and Redmond doesn’t count).

Here’s the full changelog:

  • Change app language – switch languages via the app settings.
  •  Panoramic photos – share panoramic photos with friends via chat or your highlights.
  •  General performance and reliability improvements.
