During the iPhone 11 series launch, Apple highlighted that the new devices will be capable of recording videos from multiple cameras simultaneously. For example, an application can record video feed from both the front and back cameras simultaneously. It looks like this new feature is also coming to last generation devices including the iPhone XS the iPhone XR and the 2018 iPad Pro.
However, there will be limitations based on the iPhone models. For example, the iPhone XS will support simultaneous recording based on the above listed combinations.
