Microsoft today announced the updated SharePoint mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. SharePoint iOS app now allows you to create news on the go. Till now users were only able to read the news but with this update, they can create news stories. They can add a title, body text, images, embed documents, format it and publish it. The published story will appear across the news service as a recent story on SharePoint home in Office 365, within the personalized News tab of the SharePoint apps, and on the team site itself.

With the SharePoint app for Android app, you can now enjoy team news on the go. When you tap the News tab in the updated app, you will see a list of news tailored to you using the intelligence of Microsoft Graph.
