Samsung is planning to launch another exclusive service for Galaxy owners. The company has launched a couple of apps and services exclusive for Galaxy users in the past and is now planning to step into the gaming world.

Samsung has filed a new patent with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for the name PlayGalaxy link. The patent was filed earlier this week and was published on 26th April. The trademark is categorised as Class 9 and 41 and has an extensive description: “smartphones; downloadable game software, service for online game tournaments, service for playing online Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality games, service accessible for mobile devices”. Earlier this month, Samsung partnered with the parent company of popular mobile game, Angry Birds. With Hatch, Samsung announced a free three-month Hatch Premium for everyone who buys Galaxy S10 5G in Korea.

The patent doesn’t actually reveal anything but we can assume that PlayGalaxy Link is Samsung’s version of Apple Arcade.
