Samsung Pay gets updated, allows Indian users to pay bills inside the app

Samsung has rolled out an update for the Pay app which introduces a way to pay bills from the app. The app will allow users to pay bills like mobile postpaid bills, electricity, DTH, and utility bills. The app will save the bank information including IFSC Code and Account Number to help them pay or transfer money quickly.

As you might know, Samsung Pay has many good features like Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) which allows the user to pay without using NFC. Other features include the ability to store multiple cards and pay at almost every store. The company did also partner with banks to provide easier process and rewards for people opting to pay using Samsung Pay.

Right now the competition is at the peak in India especially after Google announced Android Go to power low-end budget-friendly devices. On the other hand, companies like Xiaomi and Vivo trying to get hold of the market.

Samsung might not be a leader in Indian market but is making sure that the company is ahead of others and the latest move from the Korean Giant proves the same.
