We already know Samsung is planning to launch their new Samsung Galaxy S10 range at their Unpacked event on the 20th February, but there is a new S-series handset every year.  The more exciting device is the Samsung Galaxy F handset, the company’s and likely the first mainstream folding smartphone with a flexible screen.

Now Samsung, in a press release by their News Room,  has seemingly confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy F will also be launched on the same day.

The press release, in Korean, for an outdoor display in Paris, features the phrase “Unfolding the Future”.

Samsung Electronics will launch outdoor advertising for ‘Galaxy Unpack 2019’ in Place de la Concorde, Paris, from January 11 (local time). It is the first time that Samsung Electronics is conducting outdoor advertising in Hangul.

Samsung Electronics will express its pride as a Korean company that has led mobile development through this Hangul outdoor advertisement, and will raise hopes and questions about the future of Galaxy.

The phrase ‘unfolding the future’ expresses Samsung Electronics’ commitment to innovation in the smartphone market, which marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Galaxy, and ‘Twenty-one’ is the date when the new Galaxy smartphone will be released.

‘Galaxy Unpack 2019’ will be held in San Francisco, USA on February 20 (local time).

Samsung is testing the market with an initial batch of only 1 million handsets and aims to sell them to professionals for between $1500 and $2500. Read all the specs leaked for the groundbreaking handset so far here.
