Yesterday for the first time we heard the name Samsung settled on for their folding smartphone, and today the first new pictures of the handset leaked.
As can be seen above, the device appears to be much thinner than expected, and without a pronounced hinge area, suggesting it would likely fold pretty flat, something which has been missing from other out-ward folding phones we have seen so far.
Another picture, posted by a SamsungMyHub, reveals the back of the handset, showing off a dual-front-facing camera cut-out.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is expected to have the following specs:
Code name | SM-F900, aka Winner |
Processor | Likely Snapdragon 855 |
RAM | 12 GB |
Storage | 512 GB/ 1TB versions |
Screen 1 | 4.58 inch, 840×1960, 420 dpi |
Screen 2 | 7.3-inch Infinity Flex screen, 1536×2152, 420 dpi |
Battery | 2 x 2200 mAh, total 4400 mAh |
Colour | Black and Silver |
Release date | Q2 2019 |
Samsung is expected to show off the Samsung Galaxy Fold at their event later today. What do our readers think of the handset? Let us know below.
