We’re approaching the end of 2020 and what most tech enthusiasts are discussing right now is the Galaxy S21, but Samsung is reportedly planning to launch another exciting product, which is rumored to be called Galaxy Buds Beyond, alongside the S21. Today, we seem to have got some useful details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy earbuds.
As first spotted by MySmartPrice, a new Samsung product has just passed through China’s 3C certification site. The product carries model number RM-190, and the battery of the product has a model number EB-BR190AY. And while the 3C certification site doesn’t mention the product name, the model number of the product is very similar to that of the Galaxy Buds Live, which carries a model number RM-180.
We can’t say for sure whether or not this is the Galaxy Buds Live successor, but the 3C listing suggests that the case of the earbuds will pack a 472mAh battery unit. And in case you don’t know, 472mAh also happens to be the battery capacity of the case of the Galaxy Buds Live, while each earbud has a 60mAh battery unit.
The fact that the new earbuds draw some similarities from the Galaxy Buds Live should not make us think that the new product is the Galaxy Buds Live successor. In fact, Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Buds Beyond alongside the Galaxy S21, and if that truly is the case, then this might actually be the Galaxy Buds+ successor as it’s launched alongside the Galaxy S20. Whatever the case may be, we’ll know more about Samsung’s upcoming earbuds in the coming days.
