Samsung Announces Cross Platform Messaging Service ChatON

Samsung today surprised everyone by introducing its cross platform messaging service called chatON. chatON will allow users to have a 1:1 conversation, group chat, group messaging and even share images, videos, voice messages, contacts over the other users in the chatON platform. The service will go live in September in over 120 countries in 62 languages. chatON app will be available on iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Samsung Bada OS platforms. There is no info on availability of Windows Phone app yet, but I’m sure that it will land in our marketplace soon.
