We have reported earlier that Samsung is planning to launch A8 with the infinity-O display. The device is supposed to compete with Huawei’s Nova 4 which is scheduled to launch later this month as well.

Samsung has now updated its website in China for the launch of Galaxy A8. The website confirms the infinity-O display as well as the design of the device. The Galaxy A8 will have a single front camera placed on the top left corner of the device. The page also confirms that the company is launching A8 on 10th December at 4 PM (China Time).

We don’t know much about the device as most of the specs are still a secret but looking at the history, we can ascertain the Galaxy A8 will be a mid-range device and might be a way for Samsung to test the waters before launching Galaxy S10 next year with a similar design.
