There’s good news for people who like ridiculous over-the-top mayhem and/or terrifying plagues of zombies! Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package and Resident Evil 0, 1, and 4 are all coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Much as its name suggests, Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package is the third game in the Saints Row series and all of its downloadable content packaged into one convenient bundle.

Often referred to as the ‘gleefully silly’ version of Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row: The Third follows the Third Street Saints as they engage in a turf war to reclaim Steelport against rival gangs.

There’s lots of ridiculous action, adventure, and mayhem afoot in-game. There’s also an iconic weapon in the form of a giant, floppy, purple adult toy. Experience it all yourself on May 10th.

If you’re looking for a more serious game (with significantly less floppy, ahem, weapons), then the Resident Evil compilation might be for you.

Resident Evil Zero (2002) is the fifth major instalment in the Resident Evil series and a prequel to Resident Evil (also 2002).

The player can swap between two characters, officer Rebecca Chambers and criminal Billy Coen, as they explore an abandoned Umbrella Corp. facility.

Resident Evil 1, or just Resident Evil, was originally released in 1996. The version coming to the Switch is the HD remaster.

It’s the first game in the series and follows the protagonist (either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine) as they explore Raccoon City before being forced to seek refuge in a zombie infested mansion.

The last game in the lineup is Resident Evil 4 (2005), the sixth major instalment in the series. It’s considered a significant departure from the previous games.

The plot follows Leon S. Kennedy as he seeks to rescue the US president’s daughter after she was kidnapped by a brain-controlling-parasite-infected cult.

All three games are coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 21st.

North American Switch owners will be able to buy the Resident Evil Origins Collection, which bundles together both RE0 and RE1.
