Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 850 Mobile processor for Always Connected Windows 10 PCs

As we reported few days back, Qualcomm today officially announced the Snapdragon 850 mobile platform for Windows 10 Always Connected PCs. The new Snapdragon 850 Mobile Compute Platform will offer up to 30 percent increase in performance and up to 3X AI performance over the previous generation, as well as up to 1.2 gigabits per second LTE connectivity speeds and up to 25 hours of continuous usage or multi-day battery life under normal usage conditions.

Windows 10 April 2018 Update brings support for HDR video, Hi-Fi Audio, 64-bit Edge browser and more to Snapdragon powered Windows 10 PCs. Windows 10 devices powered by this processor are expected to be available in retail later this year.
