PUBG 60fps mode PUBG next-gen PUBG: Battlegrounds

As the popularity of the battle royale genre continues to skyrocket, those who are restricted to lower-end PCs may be looking for a way to get into the genre.

Enter PUBG Lite, a new free-to-play version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds built from the ground up for less powerful computers.

Currently, PUBG Lite is restricted for open beta in Thailand but the official announcement does claim that it will arrive in other countries.

PUBG Lite’s requirements are as follows:

Windows 7, 8, 10 – 64-bit
Core i3 2.4GHz
4GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 4000
4GB Storage

Windows 7,8,10 – 64-bit
Core i5 2.8GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660/AMD Radeon HD 7870
4GGB Storage

The game’s official announcement claims that the quality of the port aims to be good despite its lower visual fidelity.
