Power BI snags minor new features on Android

Microsoft recently brought Power BI for Android to tablet devices. The firm today released a new update to the app, adding a couple of minor new features for power users. One of the new improvements in the update is the ability to load more than 100 rows in tables and matrixes within the app, which is apparently something users have been requesting for. The company has also added a new indicator to reports which shows whether a report is optimized for your phone or not. Here’s the full changelog:

  • Load >100 rows in tables – You asked, we listened. Load >100 rows in tables & matrixes in the Power BI app.
  • Phone reports – A new icon on a report indicates if it’s optimized for phones. You can now refresh a report using pull to refresh.
  • Improved Custom URL navigation – Dashboard-tiles containing Custom URLs are now able to redirect users to reports within the app.

If you use Power BI, and have an Android device, you can get the latest update for the app from the Google Play Store here.
