pokemon rumble rush

A new Pokémon game has been revealed today! It’s for Android and iOS devices and is called Pokémon Rumble Rush.

The game is a new instalment in the Pokémon Rumble series. The Rumble series is a collection of beat-em-up games with some battle royale features, with the first game being released on the Nintendo Wii back in 2009.

The official announcement apologises for keeping fans waiting and says that the game will be ‘coming soon’ to mobile devices.

The info page for the game also says that it’s free-to-play, with in-game microtransactions available.

Pokémon Rumble Rush is also being developed by Ambrella, who are well known for Pokémon games such as Hey You, Pikachu!, My Pokémon Ranch, and the Rumble series.

The game joins the line-up of other Pokémon mobile games, such as the iconic Pokémon GO and Magikarp Jump.

As Eurogamer noted, Pokémon Rumble Rush is already out on the Australian Google Play store, meaning you can access it now if you’re willing to mess around with your region settings (or if you conveniently live in Australia and have an Android device, of course).

The Google Play store notes that the game is only compatible with Android 4.4 or higher and Snapdragon 410 or higher.

For everyone else, Pokémon Rumble Rush will be heading to mobile devices ‘soon’.
