So far we have so far seen NES, SNES, Sega MasterSystem/ GameGear, Gameboy,Gameboy Color and and Gameboy Advance emulators for Windows Phone 8 but no news of a Playstation Emulator.

Andre Botelho, a Brazilian developer who has already created a Playstation emulator for Symbian 3, has now ported his PlayStation One emulator EmiPSX to Windows Phone 8.

He posted a video of a Nokia Lumia 620 running Final Fantasy VII, which appeared to run pretty smoothly, something which he attributes to the good hardware on the device.

Hopefully we will not have to wait too long for the app to show up in the Windows Phone Store.
