Plants vs Zombies, Angry Birds, other great games coming to Windows Phone 7 this Spring

plants-vs-zombiesMajor Nelson has revealed a roster of great new Xbox Live games coming this Spring, set to be released over 6 weeks.

The list includes new and old favourites, including Plants vs Zombies, Doodle Jump, geoDefense, Hydro Thunder Go, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 and according to Major Nelson many more, of course all Xbox Live enabled.

He also confirmed of course that Angry Birds is coming, but did not give a time scale for this.

“Spring” normally means end of March, beginning of April, so we shall not have to wait too long to see the first of these iconic games arrive.

Update: The WindowsTeamBlog confirms Angry birds is also included in the Spring lot, and provides a date for Spring – April 6th! More information on each game is available at Must Have Games here.
