As rumoured previously, Google has brought the Android 10 update to the market, releasing it to devices like its Pixel family. Along with for the ride were Xiaomi, Essential and OnePlus who also updated their phones to Android 10 along with the first batch of releases, albeit with some caveats.

First, there’s OnePlus. Unlike the others, OnePlus isn’t launching a full-on Android 10 release just yet like what’s going out to the Essential Phone and Pixels. But it’s not an early developer preview either, it’s a near stable Open Beta update for people who want access to the newest and greatest verso of Android as fast as they can. The only issues are application comparability issues (Which would persist on all versions of 10 to be fair), and a low chance of lag.

Xiaomi for its part is bringing Android 10 wrapped in its MIUI skin. It was previously taken for granted that skinned versions of Android would receive pdates slower than stock applications, but Xiaomi’s clearly put a lot of work into getting its software ready for a Day 1 launch — at least on the Redmi K20 Pro.

You can download Android 10 for your device by checking for updates if you’re eligible. For OnePlus, check this link for instructions.
