The Overwatch Anniversary celebration brings new skins, new cosmetics, new sprays, and even new dance emotes. There’s six new Legendary skins available and three Epic ones. That’s nine skins in total to collect.
Hammond (also known as Wrecking Ball), Ashe, and Baptiste are also all set to get new dance emotes. We’re secretly hoping that it’ll be the Macarena.
Past seasonal brawls will also be returning to the game. They can be found in the Arcade and will be rotated daily, so log in every day to experience them all!
As long as you log in at least once during the Anniversary celebration, you’ll be treated to one free Legendary Anniversary loot box. This box is guaranteed to contain at least one legendary item.
Players will be also able to unlock loot items from previous events and purchase older Anniversary skins for a fraction of their original price. They’ll also be able to find old skins in loot boxes, which is a nice touch.
The event is set to run from May 21st until June 10th. As an added bonus, Overwatch will be free to play on all platforms (PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One) from May 21st until May 28th.
