Looking for a case to accomodate your insanely powerful, customizable, miniature desktop? At the ongoing CES trade show event in Las Vegas, Origin PC announced the Origin Chronos. The Origin Chronos (2016) dubbed Chronos SFF is a small form-factor customisable desktop.
As for the specifications, the Origin Chronos, the tiny computer measures 11.75 x 4 x 13.75 inch3, and can pack in a ton of processing power. It can accomodate an Intel Core i7 5960X processor, up to 12GB of Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Z graphics core and as much as 32GB of RAM.
Other features of the Origin Chronos include up to four 2.5-inch SSDs, and one 3.5-inch hard-drive. To offset the heat, the device also supports the Origin Frostbyte 120 sealed liquid-cooling setup.
The company claims that the Chronos can be placed in any horizontal or vertical orientation. A user can also opt for custom automotive finish paint or laser etching. Being an Origin device, you also get the ability to do professional level GPU and CPU overclocking, and there is the free lifetime 24×7 technical support as well.
The new Chonos will go on sale in February. The company noted on the sidelines that that previously availablemini-ITX cases wil no longer be available for configuration from the company’s custom shop after launch.
