Update: Opera Mini is now back on the Windows Phone Store and you can grab it from here!
Opera’s official Windows Phone app recently came out of beta. The browser works pretty well on Windows Phone, and users seem to like it so far. If you’re trying to install Opera Mini on your Windows Phone today and couldn’t find it, don’t fret – it’s not only for you. Opera has temporarily removed the app from the Windows Phone Store – and it’ll return “soon”. The company stated:
As some of you have noticed, #OperaMini is currently not on the #WindowsPhone store. We’re working to get it back to you soon 🙂
— Opera (@opera) June 17, 2015
It is worth pointing out that the Opera Mini Beta app vanished from the Windows Phone Store previously as well. It isn’t yet clear if the app will come back soon enough or if it’ll take a bit longer. However, my guess is that it will return to the Store in the next few days.
Are you an Opera Mini user? If so, are you disappointed by the fact that Opera apps are vanishing from the Store? Let us know in the comment section below.
