Thanks to Windows Subsystem for Linux, we can now run Terminal of various Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, Fedora. The latest to join is openSUSE-Leap-15-1.

openSUSE-Leap-15-1 is now available on the Microsoft Store and you can download it right now.

Microsoft, on the other hand, is also working to improve the Windows Subsystem for Linux in Windows 10. The company at its annual Build Developer conference announced a new update to the WSL, which will allow developers to “experience up to twice as much speed for file-system heavy operations, such as Node Package Manager install […] and [support for] running Linux Docker containers.”

But, before you hit the download button make sure to enable Windows Subsystem for Linux setting in Windows 10. Once you’re done, feel free to head over to Microsoft Store and download the openSUSE-Leap-15-1 Linux distribution, or else you can click on the below link to download.
