At their event today in New Delhi, OnePlus has officially announced their latest 7T flagship smartphone. The OnePlus 7T will be the successor to OnePlus 7 which was launched earlier this year. The company was rumoured to announce the successor to the OnePlus 7 Pro as well but we believe they might have saved that for the global launch.
The OnePlus 7T will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and will have 8 GB of RAM coupled with 128/256 GB of storage. The display on the device is a 6.55-inch 2400 x 1080 90 Hz “Fluid” AMOLED with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The device will come with Android 10 out-of-the-box along with Bluetooth 5. OnePlus has added a triple camera setup on the back with f/1.6 48 MP primary (IMX586), f/2.2 12 MP telephoto, and f/2.2 16 MP wide-angle lenses. On the front, OnePlus has tucked a 16 MP shooter inside a waterdrop notch that reminds you of the OnePlus 6 series. OnePlus 7T does have a special motor on the back that allows users to take super macro shots and unfortunately, the feature is currently limited to OnePlus 7T.
The phone is priced at 37,999 INR and will come in Frosted Silver, and Glacier Blue. The phone will be available in India on Amazon starting from 28th September. OnePlus is expected to talk more about the availability information during the global launch on 10th October. In the US, the phone will be available on OnePlus’ website and T-Mobile starting on October 18th and will cost $599.
