Just in time for the iPhone X launch today, Microsoft released a new update for OneDrive app for iOS devices. This v9.6.2 update brings support for iPhone X and FaceID.

Face ID uses the TrueDepth camera system to accurately map the geometry of your face and use it for secure authentication process. If you were previously using Touch ID to unlock your OneDrive app,  you can now use Face ID on iPhone X for unlocking your OneDrive app since iPhone X does not come with a fingerprint reader.

This update also includes several bug fixes related to Microsoft Intune and crash when using “Copy to OneDrive” feature.

Download the app here from App Store and try out these new features.
