Microsoft today released a new update to OneDrive on Android. The company is bringing some of the goodness from its Office Lens app to the OneDrive app with the latest update. It’s boosting OneDrive’s Scan feature with some big upgrades, utilizing some of the power of Office Lens.

OneDrive’s Scan feature will now be able to automagically crop and clean your scans by leveraging Office Lens’ power to improve the clarity of your scans and make them look much better.

Along with the upgraded Scan feature, Microsoft is also boosting the photo viewer with some performance improvements. Microsoft’s OneDrive team claims viewing photos on OneDrive is now “faster than ever before”. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Overall, the latest OneDrive is pretty minor even though the upgraded Scan feature is now a lot more powerful. If you want to checkout the new feature and performance improvements, make sure to grab OneDrive’s latest update from the Google Play Store here.
