Okta Report: Office 365 is far and away the most popular app among the enterprise

Okta yesterday released their third edition of Businesses @ Work report. Businesses @ Work report examines how organizations and the people who work for and with them get work done. Okta used anonymized customer data from their network of thousands of companies, applications, and custom integrations.
As per their report, Office 365 increased its lead as the most popular app in the network in 2016. Office 365 is also the number one lifecycle management app today. And, Office 365 is far and away the most popular app accessed by Okta customers on mobile devices.
For Microsoft, there’s some bad news as well. Yammer’s popularity saw a huge decline due to the success of Slack. Late last year, Microsoft announced Teams, a new collaboration product to take on Slack. Teams is still in preview, by the time the next Okta report gets published, I think we will see Teams in the fastest growing apps list.
LinkedIn was the top personal app accessed by users in the enterprise.
