It appears an official Tapatalk app for Windows Phone may be on the way.

Quoord Systems Limit, the developers of Tapatalk, has just purchased Foroplex, an unofficial client for the service.

The developer has announced that Foroplex would no longer function, but that this is a prelude to the official release of a Tapatalk app for Windows Phone with all the same features as the iOS and Android apps.

Tapatalk aggregates more than 35,000 forums and makes access quicker and easier, and provides access to all the same features as found in a browser, such as private messaging, new posts etc.

The purchase is an interesting endorsement of Windows Phone, and hopefully indicates more companies are taking the 25-30 million of us more seriously.
