ICQ-for-WP7-1Wp7forum.ru has pinged us to let us know that the official ICQ and [email protected] client is now in beta testing, and should hit marketplace soon .

The chat protocols are widely used in Russia and the app is currently in high demand.

WP7forum.ru notes the  app is very fast, and attempts to stay true to the Metro UI. The client features push notifications, and allows users to create accounts right from the handset.
