Microsoft has released a new Office Build for Office Insiders on macOS. The new Build 191114 brings a couple of important new features to Outlook and some bug fixes to Excel. You can read the official changelog below.

Outlook

New Outlook for Mac

On Nov 6th, at Ignite, we announced a new Outlook for Mac! Users in Insider Fast can switch into the new Outlook and give it a try! Additional details are here – aka.ms/outlookmac

New or improved features

You can now compose, and reply to, emails inline

Bug fixes

  • Search: Added missing icons in search bar
  • Mail: Fixes to the info-bars for email drafts and send later emails
  • Mail: Fixes to the message list headers
  • Calendar: Primary calendar is automatically selected
  • General: Fit & finish fixes and polish
  • General: Accessibility fixes

Bug fixes

  • Number formatting was not showing the expected characters for the thousands and decimal separator as specified in the regional settings on your Mac.
  • Cells with angled text were not showing properly when printed.
  • Some fonts didn’t have the expected amount of space between characters and their underline.
  • Fixed several crashes and some other minor issues.
