Oculus today announced that they bringing VR to more people by lowering the minimum spec required for running their VR experience, thanks to their new Async SpaceWarp technology. There will be PCs powered by Intel Core i3 with NVIDIA 960 that can run Oculus VR experiences.

Last year, Oculus announced their minimum spec with Oculus Ready PCs starting at $999. Today, they announced that Oculus Ready PCs will be available starting at just $499 from various PC OEMs in the coming months. Oculus also announced that they will be certifying Oculus Ready laptops for the first time in the coming months.
