This is one fire we dont mind stoking.  According to a tweet from O2 from the 13th they were in the final testing phase for the Windows Phone 7.5 update, and went on to say “it’s going to be released very soon.”

The company refused to give exact time scales, but it looks very much like Microsoft is gearing up for a simultanous release world-wide.
