Here’s an interesting bit of software. No2Chem was looking for a mini-keyboard when he realized he already had a perfectly serviceable keyboard on his HTC Touch Pro.
A few hours of work later and we have nueUSBKeyboard, which implements a HID Keyboard as a USB Client Function. Additional keys like Control, Alt and so forth are also implemented as on-screen keys. The on-screen soft keyboard does not transmit keys however. This software will be particularly useful for engineers who administer headless servers for example.
At present the application is donation-ware, and can be downloaded from here.
