Nokia Lumia 530 launching in Vietnam on the 1st August

Vietnamese Windows Phone site Techrum.vn reports that Microsoft is sending out invitations to a press event in Ho Chi Minh City on the 1st August for what is expected to be the launch of the Nokia Lumia 530 in the region.

The “Rock the Color” event is designed to appeal to the young and young at heart who is also the target market for the handset.

The handset features:

4-inch, 854×480 resolution LCD display (246ppi)
Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, 1.2GHz quad-core processor
5MP camera
4GB storage
Expandable memory up to 128GB
512MB RAM
15GB free cloud storage
1420mAh battery

The smartphone costs less that 100 Euro at launch as has already been picked up by T-Mobile in USA.
