The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit today revived the patent case going on between InterDigital and Nokia. Earlier U.S. International Trade Commission cleared that Nokia was not infringing InterDigital patents on 3G and that led InterDigital to Appeals court which went in favor of it today. InterDigital has also asked ITC to block imports of Nokia’s 3G devices. This case will be further reviewed to have a final judgment and the current implications of this ruling on Nokia device sales in US is not clear as of now. We will update more info as we get them.
