Nokia design chief Marko Ahtisaari has told a Finnish newspaper, Kauppalehti,  that Nokia is working on a new device with revolutionary features.

He said

When a new phone is ready, the user does not need to look down down and poke their fingers at the screen..

Now of course on the one hand, he could be talking about something rather mundane, like a phone with a keyboard that can be used one-handed and without looking at they keypad, as was often the case in the old T9 days.  That’s not terribly revolutionary however.

On the other hand, he may be talking about an incredible Kinect-enabled smartphone, certainly a technology we know Microsoft is working on. In fact, maybe it is this device, which has the ability to pop up from lying flat and was meant to hit the market in 2012?
