The Optical Image Stabilization on the Nokia Lumia 920 still remains the best in class, despite more recent competitors like the HTC One trying their hand at it.

To demonstrate the advantages of their 3-axis stabilization technology Nokia gave freerunning World Champion Ryan Doyle and traceur  Will Sutton 12 Nokia Lumia 920s to play with, and captures this great video of them defying gravity all around London.

The Nokia Lumia 920s were each filming from a different perspective. For the aerial shots one of the smartphones was strapped on to a radio controlled Cinestar Octocopter. The rest of the video was filmed using a combination of handheld, chest and head cam mounted phones – each shooting in 1080p HD.

While most of us will be sticking to the pavement, we have seen numerous demonstrations showing even there the Nokia Lumia 920 does a great job of smoothing out our pictures and videos.
